Master Gregory Shepherd

Owner/Founder

Gregory is a nationally and internationally(IKF/WKA/WAKO) ranked ametuer kick boxer. Gregory began his martial arts journey over 20 years ago with Olympic WTF taekwondo at the age of 7 in Ellicott City, Maryland Under Grand Master Jong C Jang. Started scholastic wrestling at age 11, And boxing at the age of 13. 5th dan black belt taekwondo. He also holds a black belt in Hapkido. A former soldier in the US Army of almost 10 years (now a drilling reservist) and a former world ­class taekwondo competitor in the All Army/Armed forces sports program. As a youth Gregory has Lived abroad on 2 different occasions(South Korea) and Traveled to numerous countries to study, train,and/or compete in martial arts . In his 20 years of consecutive martial arts training. Gregory has cross trained and studied many different systems most notably Jow Ga Kung Fu and Krav Maga. Gregory believes martial arts and combat sports is a lifelong metaphysical journey to help cultivate oneself as a human being mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Mr. Raymond Friedman

Head Instructor

Raymond is currently an amateur mma fighter with one mma fight under his belt. This Taekwondo & Hapkido Black belt has 15 years experience in martial arts. He has competed at an elite national level in the Olympic sport of Taekwondo for several years. Raymond is also a blue belt (nogi) in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has competed regionally on the grappling circuit. He believes that martial arts and combat sports is a never ending journey where you're constantly learning new things.
